Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

The short version:
Dial stores everything you log — clubs, shots, rounds, courses, your name and handedness — only on your device. We don't have a server. We don't collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Ever.

What data Dial stores

When you use Dial, the app stores the following information locally on your device, in a private database that only Dial can access:

What Dial does NOT do

Your control over your data

Because your data lives on your device:

Children

Dial is intended for adult and teen golfers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 because we do not collect data from anyone.

Crash reports and diagnostics

If your phone sends anonymous crash reports to Apple (a system-level setting you control in iOS Settings), Apple may share aggregated crash information with us. This data contains no personal information and is used only to fix bugs.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change this (such as optional cloud sync), we will update this policy and notify you within the app before any data leaves your device.
